We, (my personal family, the dance family and many extended friends) would like to dedicate this year's recital to our official school grandmother, Rose Medeiros.

Rose has been a part of the dancing school for 39 of the 40 years that we have been educating dancers. Rose brought her daughter, Paula Hereau, to dance with us at our Stoughton satellite school in 196?. That is how it all began. Paula and Rose have been an important part of every family and school event for many, many years.

Rose was the school secretary, an official member of the board of directors of the Capeway Junior Miss Program, an advisor for many of the costumes, and a limitless source for music history. She made many, many lists of songs that were used for various themes for our June recitals. She was our dance historian - being able to name routines, students, music, costumes and dates of hundreds of dancers. She was important to many of the young ladies who were a part of the dance center. She was invited to the graduations, weddings, christenings and birthday parties of more "dance family" members than can ever be counted. She remembered what they wore in their first dance recital and in the last few years she could tell you both the student and their mom's first routines. She has spanned several generations of dancers and made many loyal and loving friends.

She will be missed by all of us. Her spirit will be with us today - our thoughts and prayers are with her family today and always.
